These are some of my recent executive portraits. They have been commissioned for a variety of different uses, from press release portraits, social media avatars, CV profile photos and executive portraits for annual reports. There is a trend in corporate portrait photography to have informal business portraits for use in different media, but the more formal style is still required when you have executive portraits looking to camera, and making eye contact with the viewer.
You dont get a second chance to make a good first impression.
Your executive portrait is your shopfront on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.

I do love the casualness of some of the people’s expressions here, but everything else is still very streamlined and professional. Actually, it’s rather intimidating. I’d expect these portraits on the corporate website. Can anyone be helped to look that good?

Great set of very powerful portraits. I do not often shoot cooperate as i am mostly a wedding photographer but love these shots.

These portraits are amazing. These are very different from normal business photos
Nice portraits! While in executive and professional cv writing, unlike in Europe photographs are not essential or even necessary in the UK. However, if you don’t have a good quality professional portrait photo on your professional social media, such as your existing companies website or your LinkedIn profile, it can kill your job application instantly. No one trusts a faceless executive online! Best Regards, Ian R McAllister

I’m not a photography expert, I wouldn’t even call me an amateur, but I know that portraits are some of the most complex and difficult shots that could be taken.
I’m not sure what you think but I heard that taking portrait shots of a politician is one of the most difficult tasks for a photographer. Do you think this is true? Also is it equally as difficult to get a portrait shot from a high executive?
Thanks for sharing your work, it is inspiring and wonderful!
I like these portrait pictures because they look very casual and relaxed.
