Natural portraits London

Commission for Circle Capital who are based in Mayfair. They needed some portraits for their website and pitch documents. The brief was to make them look relaxed and approachable, but still looking professional. I decided to shoot these with natural available light as their boardroom had a very large north facing window and the walls were all painted white, bouncing plenty of daylight around. The natural light gives the portraits a more informal feel.

  1. These portraits look amazing! Since visiting your blog, I’ve been reading a little more about what makes a good picture, and how lighting affects the feel of a portrait. Thanks for sharing these, they’re quite educational.

I have recently been approached to shoot corporate portraits for a company in my town. Feeling a little bit scared because I do not have the professional props but a Nikon D5100, your shots have inspired me to go ahead and do something good with what is available – natural light.
